I actually can’t believe someone said it in the gym the other day. Outrageous. Disgusting. It’s only just October!
Wait what? What were you on about? Get your mind out of the gutter… we’re talking about Christmas here!
With the honeymoon well and truly over, we’re back to work and I’m loving being back in the gym being back to training and helping everyone again.
Not only do I have my routine back but I’m reenergised and ready for the next few weeks. ‘Yeah cool but what’s that got to do with Christmas?’ I can hear you asking.
With the stark realisation that Christmas is only 11 weeks away it made me think about the past year and what we have achieved and been through this year.
A wedding, the honeymoon of a lifetime, being crowned treble champions with the Hawkenbury boys and of course, taking my business to the next level.
A solid year on both the professional and personal fronts.
We’ve hit an all time high in regards to weekly personal training sessions and online monthly clients and for that I will always be greatful. The trust and faith that everyone has in me to help deliver the results they are after, from weight-loss and general health to performance based personal bests, whatever the target, is always (hopefully) reciprocated via the energy and enthusiasm I put into each and every session.
We’ve had:
Clients at the age of 40+ have less body fat than when they were in their teens
Endurance runners competing in the Male Pro divisions in European Spartan competitions
Footballers revelling in how fit and strong they are feeling better than they’ve ever felt
And
We’ve successfully rehabbed and worked through clients having frozen shoulder syndrome, torn ACL’s and meniscus tissue and chronic lower back/Achilles pain.
I know right. Busy year.
However
As we enter the final 1/4 of 2024 it’s easy to get derailed with training routines and potentially lose structure. Let’s be honest, the last few months of any year are brutal. Work parties, dark mornings AND evenings and let’s not forget the terrible weather. Cold with a side order of torrential rain? It is England after all.
So this is me, reaching out and letting you know that you CAN and SHOULD push on into the final few weeks of the year.
Just because you haven’t reached your end of year targets yet, doesn’t mean you can’t have the best 10-12 weeks of hard graft you’ve had this year.
There is still time to reach and even set yourself some end of year goals AND absolutely smash them to pieces.
Come on team, we’ve got this
